McCabe kidsVanessa talks motherhood…

What would you tell an expecting mom about the experience of being a mother?

Being a mother is like nothing you can even imagine. You can read books, watch movies, talk to other mothers but your experience will be uniquely yours. I call it controlled chaos. You should have some plans and strategies in place but you should also allow for the unexpected because it happens EVERYDAY.

What is the hardest part about being a mom?

The hardest part about being a mom is learning to adapt to each of your children and their personalities. If you have multiple children, you might need to use three different approaches based on their personalities. It can be frustrating.
